General provisions
Our General Terms of Business are a component part of every order.

Contract
The provisions of the Swiss Law of Obligations will apply to the conclusion of the contract. An order will be considered to have been concluded when a payment has been received by means of a credit card.

Prices / Means of payment
The prices can be determined from the concluded contract and/or the price list on which it was based. Our prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) including VAT. We accept the following means of payment: Mastercard, Visa.

Orders
We will accept orders by telephone during normal office hours, or otherwise by fax or E-Mail.

Fresh sturgeon meat
All orders for deliveries on Wednesday, Thursdays and Friday must be received by us on the preceding day by 3.00 p.m. at the latest.

Hot smoked sturgeon meat
Orders are accepted from Monday to Friday, and can be delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Caviar
Orders can be accepted from Monday to Friday, up to 3.00 p.m. at the latest. The deliveries will be carried out on the next day.

Prices
All the published prices are quoted in CHF and do not include VAT (exceptions are the retail prices for the shop and online shop. We reserve the right to change the quoted prices.)

Deliveries in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein
Orders can be collected in Frutigen on the agreed days and at the agreed times. If this is not possible for the customer, all the ordered goods will be sent by Night Express. The customer must be able to accept the night express delivery from Swiss Post between 7.00 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. The refrigeration chain is thereby ensured. The packaging and the despatch costs per delivery (CHF 25.00 up to 10 kg, and CHF 27.00 from 10 kg) will be charged to the customer.

Deliveries to the EU and non-EU countries
In the case of orders from abroad, 100% prepayment is required. The delivery route to the agreed destination (airport or customer) will be defined and organised by the Tropenhaus Frutigen. The customer must pay the invoice for the effective transport costs within 15 days from the receipt of the invoice. All CITES provisions are to be met. The delivery date cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery and invoice address
If the delivery address is not the same as the invoice address, the customer is obliged to inform us of this when making the order.

Complaints
If you receive a damaged or incorrect delivery, you must inform us by telephone or in writing as soon as possible after the delivery. The next steps will then be discussed individually with the customer.

Credit cards
A definitive booking is only possible by entering the details of a valid credit card. If the details of the credit card are incorrect, the purchase will not be carried out, despite the automatic confirmation.

SSL Secure transmission of the credit card details
The transmission of the credit card details takes place in an encrypted form via SSL. The card number will only be decrypted by the respective consultant.

Confirmation
Every order will be automatically confirmed to your E-mail address .The confirmation will also contain all the precise data regarding your purchase, and will serve as an invoice copy.

Data protection
We will not pass on or sell your name, your address or any other personal data to third parties. We will, however, be happy to inform you about new features and special offers by Mail. If you do not wish this, you can cancel this service at any time by E-Mail.

Other provisions
The place of fulfilment and jurisdiction is Frutigen, Switzerland.
